Herpes Medication

Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease that manifests itself in various forms. There are many types of herpes medication.

Valtrex is used for shingles (herpes zoster), genital herpes and cold sores (herpes simplex). This drug also goes by the name Famvir, Famciclovir and Valacyclovir.

Acyclovir is another herpes medication that treats all of the above plus chicken pox.
